Our highly experienced team converts our customers’ cash takings to a balance on their bank account swiftly and accurately.
We receive, count and credit billions of pounds in direct note and coin deposits from businesses, corporates and bank branches every year.
Premium high-speed note sorters are used to validate and count cash, handling deposits efficiently with the upmost precision. Our single-pass process allows us to easily accept mixed note deposits from automated cash handling devices, such as smart safes.
Once we’ve counted the cash deposited, we arrange for the bank account to be credited. Only one in every 10,000 credits and orders processed by Vaultex results in an incoming query. It’s this exceptional service that keeps customer administration to a minimum.
A range of reporting is available, issued by email on a scheduled basis or via on-demand access through our online cash management portal: Vaultex VIEW. This allows our customers to easily reconcile the sums deposited by individual stores or outlets to the entries on their bank account.
Cash supply
For businesses that need a regular supply of notes or coins to provide cash withdrawals or change to their customers, Vaultex are here to help. We facilitate swift distribution of orders by our customers’ cash-in-transit provider – so they get the cash they need quickly.
Orders can be placed either by individual stores/locations or by a central head office team, giving our customers the level of flexibility or control they require.
Only high-quality notes are issued, as sorted and verified by our high-speed note sorters. Feedback from our customers indicates that Vaultex-supplied notes typically lead to fewer machine jams.
ATM Cassette Packing and Intelligent Cassette Exchange
For our customers who run ATM networks, our Intelligent Cassette Exchange service enables Vaultex to pack cassettes in the controlled environment of our processing sites before sending them directly out to ATMs. Avoiding a separate cassette packing service with an additional supplier helps to:
- Remove surplus cash balances and minimise funding costs
- Streamline the end-to-end cash cycle, making the process more efficient
- Reduce jams and service callouts by providing high quality note presentation
- Improve the audit trail for cash, giving control over cash balances
Today, Vaultex pack over one-million cassettes annually using our automated ATM cassette packing process, mitigating the risk of errors and note inversions.
In addition, we have developed an innovative process that enables cassettes to be packed directly from high-speed note sorters. This unique method removes unnecessary single-use plastic packaging from the cycle – allowing our service to be more environmentally sustainable.
We also provide outsourced CIT depot services at our sites, enabling partner ATM deployers to reduce their operational and fixed costs.
