Supporting our people throughout the pandemic
It’s easy to support your people when times are good, it’s even more important to do so when times get tough.
As a cash management company that supplies £130 billion of the UK’s cash, Covid-19 posed operational challenges for Vaultex – primarily the substantial drop in cash usage due to the nationwide lockdown. However it also provided great people-focused opportunities, which centred on ensuring the support and assurance we gave to our people did not reflect the exceptional circumstance we faced operationally.
From enforcing a fortnightly on/off working pattern and shielding procedures before the Government announcement, to choosing not to utilise the furlough scheme and honour all pre-agreed pay rises. We’ve documented our response to the pandemic and how we plan to build on our progress in a short video; featuring some of the faces behind the decisions that were made to support our people, and their subsequent implementation.
Simply, our company values and culture wouldn’t allow for anything less. Our people are and will always be our greatest asset.
