Role: Coin Processor

Reporting to: Shift Supervisor

Full/ Part time: Fixed Term – Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00

Location: Bristol Coin

Salary: £17,014

Key responsibilities of the Coin Processor:

  • Compliance with coin processing procedures
  • Identification of coin discrepancies and appropriate reporting to Team Leader/Supervisor
  • Process/prepare all allocated items
  • Amalgamation of coin counted to complete a daily balance
  • Ensure work is processed in a suitable timescale to meet customer specific processing deadlines
  • Report all coin processed within the set deadlines, checking that all paperwork/vouchers are present and correct
  • Accurately wrap, strap and weigh all cash counted by machine, by denomination and type
  • Other daily duties as delegated by Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, adhering to the secure waste procedures

Essential skills/experience of the Coin Processor:

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Basic IT skills
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Good Organizational and time management skills
